Shooting with a Smart Device

Pair the camera and the smart device (A9).

Tap c Camera M Remote photography in the SnapBridge
360/170 app.
When a confirmation dialog for the Wi-Fi connection is displayed, tap OK.

To record a movie, tap
The status lamps light red at the same time while recording movies. To stop
recording a movie, tap

is tapped, the shutter sound is produced. When Self-timer is set to 2 s or
10 s, the camera beeps to indicate that the self-timer is activated, and then the
shutter sound is produced. The status lamps flash green at the same time while the
still image is being saved.
You can change the volume of sounds during operation using the SnapBridge 360/170 app.
Still images captured are automatically sent to the smart device.

Notes About Saving Movies or Images
The status lamps light in red at the same time or flash green at the same time while movies
or images are being saved. Do not open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover
or remove the battery or memory card. Doing this could result in loss of data, or in
damage to the camera or the memory card.

Notes About Exposure
When the contrast is high between subjects in the front lens and back lens, the camera
cannot obtain the appropriate exposure. Adjust the brightness using c Camera M
Camera settings M Shooting options M Shooting options M Exposure
compensation in the SnapBridge 360/170 app (A24).

Notes About the Composited Areas of Two Images
Under some shooting conditions, the boundaries of the composited areas may be noticeable.
Under some shooting conditions, images may not match perfectly at the composite
boundaries.

Number of Images That Can Be Saved
The approximate number of images that can be saved can be checked on the shooting
screen of the SnapBridge 360/170 app.
Note that due to JPEG compression, the number of images that can be saved may vary
greatly depending on the image content, even when using memory cards with the same
capacity and the same image size settings. In addition, the number of images that can be
saved may vary depending on the make of the memory card.
