    Page 6 FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION FOREWORD Model 7499 Cutout Tool is designed to make access cutouts for the installation of electrical, plumbing, or ventilation components. Special bits are available, as accessories, for cutting various building materials: drywall, plaster, paneling, cement board, foamboard, fiberglass, acoustical tile, and ceramic wall tile.

    FACTORY SERVICE CENTER. At approximately 100 hours of use, take or send your tool to your nearest authorized Porter-Cable Service Station to be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Have worn parts replaced and lubricate with fresh lubricant. Have new brushes installed, and test the tool for performance.
