of the fabric. Place the fabric according to the
presser foot (see picture).

mending and darning. A threadbare spot is
mended by sewing back and forth with three-

Use the reverse and for every row of stit-
ching, guide the fabric slightly to the side. If
the fabric is very worn, a piece of fabric or
lining may be attached to the reverse side of
the material as reinforcement.

Sobrehilado
La costura zig-zag de tres pasos

tejidos. Recorte los bordes antes de sobrehi-
lar. Procure al coser que las puntadas cojan
bien el borde tomando los hilos. Coloque la
tela seguir la referencia del prensatelas (ver
illustración).

Remendar y zurcir

El zig-zag de tres puntadas,

y zurzir. Para remendar otros desperfec-tos,
bastan unas cuantas pasadas con el zig-zag de
tres puntadas hacia adel an te y atrás.
Utilice marcha atrás y desplace la tela la te -
ral men te al coser. Cuando el desperfecto así
lo requiera, suplemente el lado inferior con
un trozo de tela de refuerzo.
