Chapter 3 — Operation

Factory Default Settings

In order to return the printer to its default configuration, you need to
reset the memory.
To reset the printer to factory default configuration:
Switch off the printer.

Open the printer and remove all media from the paper path.

Turn the printer back on while pressing down the Feed key.

When the feeding mechanics start working, release the Feed key and

press it down again. The Indicator light should now be flashing.
Press and hold the Feed key down for eight seconds, or until the Indi-

cator light stops flashing. The printer resets all parameters to factory
default.
Switch off the printer, reload the media, and turn the power back on.
