Other Functions (1)

This chapter describes how to use some
functions contained in the system, i.e. how
to listen to the radio, how to listen to an
external source, how to select a listening
mode and how to use the sleep timer.
Listening to the Radio
Preset your favorite radio stations into the
system's memory first (see "Presetting
Radio Stations" on page 31).
1 Press the TUNER/BAND button.
2 Press the PRESETb /5
repeatedly to select the preset station
you want.
Each time you press the button, the
system tunes in one preset station at a
time.
In Tuner mode, use the number buttons
(0-9 / +10) to key in a preset number
(0-39), you can select the preset station
directly.
3 Adjust the volume level by pressing the
VOLUME/ADJ (b/5) buttons.
This system is built in Dolby Pro Logic
decoder, so you can enjoy the live sound
in Dolby Surround. How to operate, see
"Selecting Listening Modes" on page 63.
To turn off the radio
Press the STANDBY button or the POWER
switch.
To listen to non-preset radio stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in step 2.
For manual tuning, press the TUNING (b/5)
buttons repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold the
TUNING (b/5) buttons until the frequency
indicator starts to change automatically,
then release the button.
If an FM program is noisy
Press the FM MODE button on the remote
control so that "MONO" appears on the
front panel display. There will be no stereo
effect, but the reception will improve. Press
the button again to restore the stereo effect.
To improve reception
Reorient the supplied antennas.

Ce chapitre explique comment utiliser
certaines fonctions du système i.e. l'écoute
du radio, de sources externes, mode
d'écoute et comment utiliser la minuterie de
sommeil.
L'écoute de la radio
Pré-réglage de vos poste favoris dans la
mémoire du système en premier (voir "Pré-
réglage de postes de radio", page 31).
1 Appuyer sur la touche TUNER/BAND.

buttons
répététivement pour choisir le poste pré-
réglé que vous désirez.
Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la
touche, le système syntonise un poste
pré-réglé à la fois.
En mode Tuner, utiliser les touches
numériques (0-9/+10) pour entrer le
numéro pré-réglé (0-39), vous pouvez
choisir le poste pré-réglé directement.
3 Régler le volume en appuyant sur les
touches VOLUME/ADJ (b /5 ). Ce
système incorpore un décodeur Dolby
Pro, vous permettant de jouir d'un son
d'ambiance Dolby. Pour l'opération, voir
"Choisir les modes d'écoute" page 63.
Pour éteindre le radio
Appuyer sur la touche STANDBY ou sur
l'interrupteur POWER.
Pour l'écoute d'un poste de radio non pr-
é-réglé.
Utiliser la syntonisation manuelle ou
automatique de l'étape 2.
Pour la syntonisation manuelle appuyer sur
les touches TUNING (b/5) répététivement.
Pour la syntonisation automatique, appuyer
et tenir sur les touches TUNING (b /5 )
jusqu'à temps que l'indicateur de fréquence
commence à changer automatiquement,
ensuite relacher la touche.
Si un programme FM est bruyant
Appuyer sur la touche FM MODE de la
télécommande afin que "MONO" apparait
sur l'afficheur du panneau avant. Il n'y aura
pas d'effect stéréo, mais la réception sera
améliorée. Appuyer sur la touche de
nouveau pour revenir à l'effect stéréo.

Ré-orienter l'antenne fournie
