Configuring the LECS ATM Address on a LightStream 1010
Switch
To configure the LAN Emulation Configuration Server (LECS) ATM address on a LightStream 1010 switch,
follow these steps:
1.
Use the enable command to enter Privileged EXEC mode.
2.
Use the config terminal command to enter Global Configuration mode.
3.
Enter Interface Configuration mode for the correct ATM interface.
4.
Use the atm command followed by the address of the LECS:
atm lecs−address atm−address
Tip To verify the address configuration, use the show atm ilmi−configuration command.

Configuring the Advertised LECS Address

To configure the LECS address advertised by the switch to the end system, use the atm lecs−address−default
Global Configuration command. The syntax is as follows:
atm lecs−address−default lecsaddress [sequence #]

To view the LANE configuration on a LightStream series switch, use the show lane command as follows:
