SAFETY WARNINGS

CHECK AND MAINTAIN PRODUCT CONDITIONS
The Dash should be maintained and repaired in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications, using only the manufacturer's authorized
replacement parts, and should not be modified from the manufacturer's
original design and configuration.
ACCEPTABLE RIDING PRACTICES AND CONDITIONS
Direct parental supervision is required at all times. Always check and obey
any local laws or regulations which may affect the locations where the Dash
may be used on public property. This product is meant to be used only in
controlled environments, free of potential traffic hazards and not on public
streets. Do not allow your child to ride this product in any areas where
pedestrian or vehicle traffic is present. Never use near streets, steps, sloped
driveways, hills, roadways, alleys or swimming pool areas. Never allow your
child to use headphones, a cell phone or text when riding. Never allow your
child to hitch a ride with a vehicle.
The Dash is intended for use on solid, flat, clean and dry surfaces, such as
pavement or level ground, without loose debris, such as dirt, leaves, rocks
or gravel.
Do not activate the electric mode unless child is on the Dash and in a safe,
outdoor environment suitable for riding.
WARNING: PARENT CONTROLLED HIGH/LOW SPEED SWITCH: The
Dash has a HIGH-LOW speed switch which can be manually set by an adult
before children ride it. This switch allows parents to reduce the Dash speed
for novice riders in the electric assist mode. See page 5. The default setting
is LOW. The normal powered top speed of the Dash will be approximately
5 mph (8 km/h), which can be affected by conditions, such as rider weight,
inclines, and battery charge level. Avoid excessive speeds that can be
associated with downhill rides. Ride on level and flat ground only.
Ride defensively. Watch out for potential obstacles that could catch the
wheel or cause the rider to swerve suddenly or lose control. Be careful to
avoid pedestrians, skaters, skateboards, scooters, electric products, bikes,
children or animals who may enter your path, and respect the rights and
property of others.
Wet, slick, bumpy, uneven or rough surfaces may impair traction and
contribute to possible accidents.
Child must maintain a hold on the handlebars at all times. Never carry
passengers or allow more than one child at a time to ride this product.
Do not allow hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothing, or similar articles to
come in contact with moving parts or wheels while the motor is running.
Do not ride your Dash in wet or icy weather and never immerse the Dash in
water, as the electrical and drive components could be damaged by water or
create other possibly unsafe conditions. Never risk damaging surfaces, such
as carpet or flooring, by use of a Dash indoors.
