Language Settings

The language on the display can be changed.

Open the LCD monitor fully.

Set the Power Switch to "REC" or "PLAY"
while pressing down the Lock Button located on
the switch.
● If set to "REC" , the recording mode should be
set to "M". ( pg. 21)

Select the desired language, press SET or

Press MENU.
Press whenever you want to return to the
previous menu screen.

Date/Time Settings

The date/time is recorded onto the tape at all
times, but its display can be turned on or off.

Viewfinder Adjustment

Set the Power Switch to "REC" while pressing
down the Lock Button located on the switch.

Make sure the LCD monitor is closed and
locked. Pull out the viewfinder fully.

Turn the Dioptre Adjustment Control until the
indications in the viewfinder are clearly focused.
Example:

CAUTION:
When retracting the viewfinder, take care not to
pinch your fingers.

● To adjust the brightness of the viewfinder, pull
out the viewfinder fully and set "PRIORITY" to
"FINDER" ( pg. 33, 36).
