4. Install:
• camshaft sprocket cover
• exhaust tappet cover
• intake tappet cover
• C.D.I. magneto cover
Refer to "CYLINDER HEAD" in chapter 4.

ADJUSTING THE ENGINE IDLING SPEED
1. Start the engine and let it warm up for sev-
eral minutes.
2. Attach:
• engine tachometer
(to the spark plug lead)
Inductive self-powered tachome-
ter
P/N. YU-8036-B
Engine tachometer
P/N. 90890-03113
3. Measure:
• engine idling speed
Out of specification → Adjust.
Engine idling speed
1,750 ~ 1,850 r/min
4. Adjust:
• engine idling speed

a. Turn in the pilot screw 1 until it is lightly
seated.
b. Turn out the pilot screw for the specified
number of turns.
Pilot screw setting
2-1/2 turns out
c. Turn the throttle stop screw 2 in or out until
the specified engine
obtained.
