Initial Installation - Samsung DCB-P850R Instructions For Use Manual

You have to set up your receiver when it is plugged in for the
first time. For this action, after pressing the MENU(
select Setup > System > Initial Installation. After entering
your PIN code (the initial setting is "0000"), do the following
actions:
Setting Language
● Press the OK button to select your desired language, then
move the cursor to Continue.
● Press the OK button.
The channel scanning box appears as shown in the picture.
Setting Frequency
● Use the / buttons to select a desired frequency.
You can enter the proper frequency using the NUMERIC
buttons on the remote control.
Setting Network ID
● Use the / buttons to select a desired Network ID.
You can enter the proper Network ID using the NUMERIC
buttons on the remote control.
Selecting Modulation
● Use the / buttons to select the modulation of the channel
you want to find.
You can select the value of 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 QAM, or
AUTO.
Setting Symbol Rate
● Use the / buttons to select a desired symbol rate of
channel you want to find.
You can enter the proper symbol rate using the NUMERIC
buttons on the remote control.
Executing Auto Channel Scanning
● After selections are made, press the OK button to start auto
channel scanning. Auto channel scanning will start.
● After auto channel scanning completes, press the OK button
to save the TV and Radio channels.
