    1.2 Installing the SIM Card, Battery, and Storage Card SIM Card Your SIM card is given to you by your wireless service provider and contains your basic subscriber information, such as your phone number and your address book. You need to remove the back cover before you can install the SIM card, battery and storage card on your device.

Insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and the cut-off corner facing away from the slot (check the SIM card slot for the correct orientation when inserting the SIM card).

    Storage Card To have additional storage for your images, videos, music, and files, you can purchase a microSD™ card and install it into your device. To install the microSD card Remove the back cover. Insert the microSD card into the slot with its gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
