Remove all packing material before using your wine cooler.
IMPORTANT: Before connecting the unit to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately
24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling
during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
This unit is designed for freestanding, indoor use only. Position the unit in a dry and well-
ventilated place. Avoid placing the wine cooler near any source of heat or moisture, or in direct
sunlight. Do NOT install the unit in a location with an ambient temperature that will fall below
60°F.
For built-in installation, leave a ¼" (6.35mm) space on each side and at the top of the wine cooler
to ensure proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser. Also, be sure to not
obstruct the front exhaust vent with any objects as this may affect the unit from performing
properly.
For freestanding installation, 6" of space at the back, 10-12" of space on each side, and unlimited
clearance at the top of the wine cooler are suggested to ensure proper air circulation to cool the
compressor and condenser. Do not place underneath a table, counter top, or anything of the sort
as this will not allow for proper air circulation.
Place the wine cooler on a level surface strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To
level the wine cooler, adjust the front leveling legs at the bottom of the wine cooler.
For best performance it is recommended that you install the appliance in a location with an
ambient temperature between 72°-78°F. If the ambient temperature is above or below
recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected.
It is recommended that you do not install the appliance near an oven, radiator or other heating
source. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Don't install in a location where the temperature will fall below 60°F (16°C). For best
performance, do not install the appliance behind a cabinet door or block the base grille.
Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
Plug the wine cooler into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet.
INSTALLATION OF THE METAL HANDLES
Pull away the door gasket in the area where the
handle is to be installed. The gasket is easily
removed by hand, no tools are necessary.
Insert the two (2) Phillips head screws with the lock
washers and flat washers through the gasket side
of the door frame until the screws pass through the
door frame. Follow the sequence shown in the
figure.
Align the handle with the screws installed in the
above step. Tighten the screws using a Phillips head
screwdriver until the handles secure tightly against
the door frame. (DO NOT over tighten as this will
cause damage to the handle assembly).
Replace the door gasket to its original position.
