2.15 Reference Signal Generator

The Reference Signal Generator (RSG) consists of the following
blocks:
The CPU controls the RSG in order to produce the required frequency
and amplitude during an acquisition cycle.

2.16 Probe Selection Board (PSB) Overview

The purpose of the PSB is to enable the operator to work
simultaneously with up to three probes. Currently the system is
supplied with two probes, large and small. The probes are connected
all the time, and by pressing the "GO" button on one of them the system
selects the probe, and connects its data lines to the PM board.
