Turn off the Internet Explorer Channel Bar
option.

Click OK.
The icon titles on my desktop and in my folders
are underlined.
When an icon's descriptive text is underlined, single-
click mode is active.
To remove the underlining, but leave single-click
mode active:

Click Start on the taskbar.

Choose Settings and then Folder Options.

Click Custom and choose Settings.

Choose the Underline icon titles only when
I point at them option.

Close the dialog boxes.
