    Preface This manual contains information that will help you operate the computer. It is divided into 6 chapters, and an appendix. Chapter 1, Getting Started, takes you through the process of setting up the computer and identifying its external components. Chapter 2, Using the Notebook, tells you how to use the computer’s components and features.

    Tips: You can also adjust the brightness of the display to attain display clarity. To adjust brightness, press [Fn]+[F7] or [Fn]+[F8]. NOTE: The SCU program allows you to enter the configuration information and store it in CMOS RAM. The configuration information is needed by the notebook to identify the installed devices.
