5 Unscrew and remove the slot's faceplate. Store it in a safe place. If it is tight, loosen the screws on the adjacent
faceplates.
6 Hold the card horizontally with the card's connector pointing towards the slot's connector. Slide the card into the slot.
Do not bend the card. Ensure that the card's connector engages completely with the slot's connector and does not
touch components on other cards.
7 Secure the card by replacing the faceplate screw. If you loosened the screws on adjacent faceplates, remember to
tighten them.
