Battery
The battery is located in a compartment under the rear fender.

(3) negative ( ) terminal lead
Removal
1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF (
2. Remove the battery holder ( ) by removing the mount bolts ( ).
3. Disconnect the negative ( ) terminal lead ( ) from the battery ( )
first, then disconnect the positive ( ) terminal lead ( ).
4. Remove the battery.
