Parental Control
Press MENU until the Special Features

menu appears.
Using the UP/DOWN arrows, select Parental Ctl.

within the menu.

Press a RIGHT/LEFT arrow to enter the parental
controls (Par. Ctl.) menu.
With the UP/DOWN arrows, select

Block Ch.
Press a RIGHT/LEFT arrow to enter

the channel selection menu. The screen will be
replaced by a blue screen listing all of your
available channels.
Using the arrow key,s select the channel numbers
6
that you wish to block. The screen lists the
channel as Unblocked.
Press the FLSHBK key Block the channel. A small
7
padlock icon will appear next to the channel
number to indicate that the channel is blocked.
Press the MENU button to return to the Par. Ctl.

menu.
Press an UP/DOWN arrow to select Set Hours in
9
the menu.
Press a RIGHT/LEFT arrow and a display will
10
appear asking for the number of hours the chan-
nel is to be blocked. Use the RIGHT/LEFT arrows
to increase/decrease the amount of time.
When you have selected the desired amount of

time, press the UP arrow to return
to the Par. Ctl. menu.
Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select Set

Password. A display will appear to the right,
prompting you to enter a code.
With the Number Keypad, enter a four-digit code.

You will be asked to reenter the same code.
Use the DOWN arrow to select Lock On/Off in the

menu, and press a RIGHT/LEFT arrow. A display
will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Press ENTER or QUIT to exit Parental Control and

resume TV viewing.
