Prepare the Hood
1 ] If present, remove all protective polyfilm from the hood and/or parts.
2 ] For BCDJ1 Series only: Remove 7" Round Duct Plate from top/back of hood (see illustration

3 ] Using the finger cup, remove the grease filters from the hood by pushing down
4 ] Using a 11/32" nutdriver or socket, remove the lock nut retaining the flange of the right cover

only: Remove the adapter/damper from back of hood (see illustration below). Keep the screws
for further use.

right cover plate retaining screws (7 screws), then set the blower cover along with its screws
and nut aside.
