► Select the appropriate data cable for your computer.
► Connect one of the connectors of the data cable to the DVI-D or DisplayPort socket of the
monitor and secure the DVI-D plug-in connection by tightening the safety screws.
The monitor automatically detects the input (VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort)
when only one signal source is connected.
► Insert one connector of the audio line into the AUDIO IN (7) socket on the
monitor and make sure it is properly engaged.
► Plug the power cable supplied into the power connector of the monitor.
► Plug the supplied USB 3.0 cable into the USB 3.0 (upstream) socket (9) and the
other end of the cable into a USB 3.0 socket on the computer.
Connect the USB keyboard and USB mouse directly to the PC, as the USB connector
socket of the monitor is switched off in energy-saving mode.
► Use the cable retainer at the foot of the monitor to secure the connected cables.
