Connecting the drain hose to the outdoor unit
When using the air conditioner in the heating mode, ice may accumulate . During de-icing (defrost operation), the
condensed water must be drained off safely . Consequently, you must install a drain hose on the outdoor unit,
following the instructions below .
X Leave space of more than 50mm (1 . 9 7 inch) between the bottom of the outdoor unit and the ground for installation of

the drain hose, as shown in figure .
X Insert the drain plug into the hole on the underside of the outdoor unit .

X Connect the drain hose to the drain plug .
X
X Ensure that the drained water runs off correctly and safely .
X
