8. USING THE KODAK PPS1800

Check the remaining battery capacity
press the power button once to display the remaining battery capacity. to ensure you never run out of
power, please recharge kodak ppS1800 before use or storage. it is highly recommend to recharge
kodak ppS1800 at least once every 3 months.
Power ON / OFF procedure
• Main function of POWER button
turn on: pressing the master power button for more than 1 second turns on kodak ppS1800, after which,
led power indicator and lcd screen will light up. following that.
turn off: pressing the master power button for more than 1 second turns off kodak ppS1800 after which,
the lcd screen will turn off. when all buttons are off the led power indicator will also turn off.
• Main function of DC button
turn on: pressing the dc on button for more than 1 second activates dc output, after which the dc po-
wer led will light up and the display will show „dc on"
turn off: pressing the dc on button for more than 1 second deactivates the dc output, after which the
dc power led will turn off and the display will show „dc off"
• Main function of AC button
turn on: pressing the ac on button for more than 1 second activates ac output, after which the ac po-
wer led will light up and the display will show „ac on".
turn off: pressing the ac on button for more than 1 second deactivates the ac output, after which the
ac power led will turn off and the display will show „ac off".
Intelligent cooling
kodaks ppS1800 intelligent system will turn on fans for cooling when any of these conditions are met:
1) inverter load > 400w 2) 5V uSb load > 10w 3) typec-pd load > 30w 4) 12V cigarette lighter load > 50w
5) pV input power > 100w
in addition, kodaks ppS1800 intelligent controll system will adjust the pV input or ac output power ba-
sed on the outer case temperature of the outer case in order to ensure that the outer case can be hand-
led safely. DO NOT use kodak ppS1800 when any fan is broken.
Inverter output frequency setting
• turn on the master power button and the dc power button. ensure the ac button is switched off.
• press the dc power button and the ac power button and hold for 1 second to enter settings.
• press the ac power button to choose the inverter ac output frequency.
• press the dc power button and the ac power button and hold for 1 second to exit settings.
Appropriate temperature usage
• Charge protection: kodak ppS1800 can charge your device when the ambient temperature is bet-
ween 0 - 40°c. outside this temperature range, the system automatically stops charging but will restart
once the temperature is back inside the acceptable range.
• Discharge protection: kodak ppS1800 can power your devices when the ambient temperature is
between 0 - 40 °c. outside this temperature range the system automatically stops charging your de-
vice but will restart once the temperature is back inside the acceptable range.
Best-use strategy
• if you plug in devices that have a high power requirement, the charge level of kodak ppS1800 can
drop quickly and you will not be able to extract the entire 1800wh of energy.
