Aligning the Print Head

Aligning the print head position allows you to print without shifts in the color registration.

With the printer on, load two sheets of Letter paper in the printer.

Open the Printer Properties dialog box.
See "Opening the Printer Properties Dialog Box Directly from the Start Menu"
page 15.

Print the pattern.

Click the Maintenance tab.

Click Print Head Alignment.

When the confirmation message
is displayed, click OK.

After the pattern is
printed, click Yes.
