2-12: SUB CONTRAST MANUAL
1. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and
press the channel button (14) on the remote control to
select "CONTRAST".
2. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control
until the contrast step No. becomes "96".
3. Press the INPUT SELECT button on the remote control
to set to the AV mode. Then perform the above
adjustments 1~2.
2-13: HORIZONTAL PHASE
1. Receive the monoscope pattern.
2. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and
press the channel button (05) on the remote control to
select "H PHASE".
3. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control
until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right
and left becomes minimum.
2-14: VERTICAL SHIFT
1. Receive the monoscope pattern.
2. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and
press the channel button (07) on the remote control to
select "V SHIFT".
3. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control
until the horizontal line of the monoscope comes to
approximate center of the CRT.
2-15: VERTICAL SIZE
1. Receive the monoscope pattern.
2. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and
press the channel button (06) on the remote control to
select "V SIZE".
3. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control
until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on upside
and downside becomes minimum.
4. Receive a broadcast and check if the picture is normal.
2-16: OSD HORIZONTAL
1. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1.
2. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control
until the difference of A and B becomes minimum.

2-17: COLOR LEVEL
1. Receive the color bar pattern.
2. Connect the oscilloscope to TP4201.
3. When setting to the Y-LEVEL 100%, check if the
MAGENTA is 45 ± 10%. (Refer to Fig. 2-5)

2-18: SUB SHARPNESS
1. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and
press the channel button (17) on the remote control to
select "SHARPNESS".
2. Check if the step No. of SHARPNESS is "40".
3. Press the AV button on the remote control to set the
AV mode. Then perform the above adjustments 1~3.
2-19: E-E LEVEL (VIDEO AGC)
1. Receive the color bar pattern. (Audio Video Input)
2. Connect the oscilloscope to TP4201.
Check if the VIDEO OUTPUT LEVEL is 1 ± 0.2Vp-p.
