Turning the phone on

To turn on the phone
Press and briefly hold the on/off button on the top of
the phone.
Note: When you turn on the phone it takes up to 40
seconds to begin operating.
Note: If your service provider requires the use of a
PIN (Personal Identity Number), then the PIN:
screen noted above will appear, and you will find the

default PIN in the collateral material developed by
your service provider. Otherwise, the PIN: screen
will not appear, and the standby screen will be
displayed.
When you enter your pin, the digits will be masked
with an asterisk (*). Do not choose emergency
numbers for your PIN because emergency numbers
are not masked. Some number sequences may not be
hidden because they could be part of an emergency
number sequence.
Note: If you enter the wrong PIN three times in a
row, the SIM card is blocked and the message "PIN
blocked" appears. To unblock it, you need to enter
your PUK (Personal Unblocking Key). Your PUK is
provided by your network operator.
To turn off the phone
Press and hold the on/off button at the top of the phone.
