Configuring the sound settings

Setting the use of Center Spread

Selects whether to spread the center channel signals to left and right when a 2-
channel source is played. This setting is effective when "bDsur" is selected.
Setup menu
"Sound" > "DSP Parameter" > "Center Spread"
Settings
Off
Disables Center Spread.
On
Enables Center Spread.
NOTE
▪ If you feel the center sound is too strong, set this function to "On".
▪ For details on the surround decoder, see the following:

Adjusting the center localization (broadening effect)
of the front sound field
Adjusts the center localization (broadening effect) of the front sound field. Adjust this
higher to strengthen the center localization (less broadening effect) or lower to weaken
it (more broadening effect). This setting is effective when "Neo:6 Music" is selected.
Setup menu
"Sound" > "DSP Parameter" > "Center Image"
Setting range
0.0 to 1.0

Setting the use of Monaural Mix

Enables/disables monaural sound output. This function can be applicable when the
sound program is set to "7ch Stereo" only.
Setup menu
"Sound" > "DSP Parameter" > "Monaural Mix"
Settings
Off
Disables monaural sound output.
On
Enables monaural sound output.
Setting the adjustment method of the Lipsync
function
Selects the method for adjusting the delay between video and audio output.
Setup menu
"Sound" > "Lipsync" > "Select"
Settings
Select this option when you want to adjust the delay between video and
audio output manually.
Manual
Adjust the audio output timing in "Adjustment".
Adjusts the delay between video and audio output automatically when a
TV that supports an automatic lipsync function is connected to the unit via
Auto
HDMI.
If necessary, you can fine-adjust the audio output timing in "Adjustment".
NOTE
▪ You can enable/disable the Lipsync function by input sources in "Lipsync" in the "Option" menu. For
details, see the following:
