Operation
Update
Once the user registration is complete, the firmware and recipes will automatically
update through the network.
Update firmware
- Once you are registered, touch the Update
button from the Settings screen.
- Firmware and recipe updates are
automatically checked.
- Touch the Network button if "There are
new updates" appears in the display.
- After the update, the system will
automatically reboot.
Do not touch the screen while the
firmware is updating.
- The update may take longer depending on
the Wi-Fi connection. Please be patient. If
the screen stalls during the update
(progress bar has stopped) open the door
and flip the reset switch off and on.
WARNING
Warning when setting the Wi-Fi network
- LG Electronics is not responsible for any network connection problems or any faults,
malfunctions, or errors caused by network connection.
- Network connection may not work properly depending odn Internet service provider.
- Wireless network can experience interference from other devices with 2.4 GHz
frequency (wireless phone, Bluetooth device, or microwave oven). Interference may
also be caused by devices with 5 GHz frequency, the same as any other Wi-Fi devices.
- The surrounding wireless environment can make wireless network service run slowly.
- Failure to turn off all local home networks may cause excessive traffic on some
devices.
- Invalid settings of network devices (wired/wireless line sharer, hub) can cause the
appliance to operate slowly or not operate properly. Install the devices correctly
according to the appropriate manual and set network.
- Certain connected features (such as Program Update) will operate slowly if the Wi-Fi
connection strength is not strong. To improve the Wi-Fi signal strength, it is
recommended to purchase a Wi-Fi repeater.
