Be sure your power supply agrees with the nameplate
marking. Voltage decrease of more than 10% will cause loss
of power and overheating. These tools are factory tested; if
this tool does not operate, check power supply.

Intended Use

This jig saw is designed for household applications.
DO nOT use under wet conditions or in presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
DO nOT let children come into contact with the tool.
Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use
this tool.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS


WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from
power source before making any adjustments or
removing/installing attachments or accessories.
An accidental start-up can cause injury.

WARNING: Laceration Hazard. Before attempting any
of the following operations, make sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged and that the saw blade
has stopped. Used saw blades can be hot.
Blade Installation (Fig. B)
1. Push the saw blade locking lever
2. With teeth facing forward, insert the shank of the saw
blade into the blade holder as far as it will go.
3. Release the lever.
4. Check to ensure blade is secure before cutting.

Adjusting the Shoe for Bevel Cuts

WARNING: Never use the tool when the shoe is loose
or removed.
The shoe can be set to a left or right bevel angle up to 45°.
