Included in this television is a special functional mode that allows the TV to be configured for hospitality or commercial applications. This feature is called PBS Mode. This addendum has been designed to help install and operate this TV in PBS Mode.

    When application is HOTEL/HOSPITAL, the following are activated. $ Last status is disabled $ Limited Consumer Menu When in PBS mode, the guest can display the Consumer Menu, to adjust TV parameters. However, these settings should not be stored. $ Child lock and timers (except sleeptimer) are disabled. Note: The default application for TV should be HOTEL/HOSPITAL, while that for monitor should be BUSINESS MONITOR.

    WELCOME MESSAGE The Welcome Message function allows the TV to show a customized greeting to the hotel guest whenever the TV is switched on. This helps to personalize the hotel experience for guests. The Welcome Message can consist of 2 lines of text, with each line containing a maximum of 20 alphanumeric characters.
