AFD2000 Fire Control Panel

In this ma nual we will use the term AFD2000 con trol pa -

nels. Other wi se we will use the spe ci fic terms.
AFD2000 Fire con trol pa nel is ava i ble in the fol lo wing
mo dels:
AFD2010 - Ana lo gue ad dres sa ble Fire Con trol Pa -
nel with one not ex pan da ble Loop and with Swit ching
Po wer supply 5,5 A;
AFD2020 - Ana lo gue ad dres sa ble Fire Con trol Pa -
nel with two not ex pan da ble Lo ops and with Swit -
ching Po wer supply 5,5 A;
Ple a se read this ma nual ca re fully to get an ove rall view
of how to use your AFD2000 system.
The con fi gu ra tion of the AFD2000 system de pends on
the size and re qui re ments of the ap pli ca tion, the re fo re,
some of the de vi ces and fun ctions de scri bed may not
be pre sent on your system.
The AFD2000 Ma ster con trol pa nel sup ports: 500 de -
tec tors and/or ma nual call po ints to each main PCB;
max 8 AFD2001 Re pe a ters.
max 7 AFD2000 Sla ve Con trol Pa nels.
AFD2000 con trol pa nel al lows users to ma na ge the fun -
ctions of the Fire con trol system up to 2000 m (Loop)
with shiel ded ca ble 2x2.5.

Accessory items

AFD2001 Repeater Re pe a ters are pe rip he rals that
pro vi de all the system sta tus in for ma tion, emit au di ble
si gnals and al lows users to con trol the fun ctions of the
AFD2000 system (up to 1000 m, with double twi st
shielded ca ble).
The Re pe a ter AFD2001 has NOT EN54 cer ti fi ca -
tion.
AFD2000SLAVE The AFD2000 "Ma ster" con trol pa nel
can ma na ge up to 7 AFD2000 Sla ve which can be used
to ex pand the AFD2000 system.
Sof twa re AFD2000 Con so le This user-friendly sof -
twa re ap pli ca tion (Win dows) of fers a quick and easy
way to pro gram the Con trol pa nel and pro vi des event
log and print-out fun ctions.

The use of the Cur sors Keys: ESC key, ENTER
Key and Fun ction Keys will be shown in any fol lo -
wing scre en, in de ta ils in every DISABLE-MODIFY
and VIEWING pha se.

User Access Level

L1= Access le vel 1: Vie wing: ever ybody can view the
Con trol pa nel sta tus.
In de ta il:
LOOP, DEVICES, NETWORK, LOG,
VERSION and LIST.
L2= Access le vel 2 or User Le vel: Ope ra ting the
system (PIN Code en te red : ONLY PIN Code can ope -
ra te the system).
At this Le vel, all the ope ra tions of the LEVEL 1 are ava -
la i ble and mo re o ver it is pos si ble to MODIFY:
the USER PASSWORD, and cle ar LOG;
or what to DISABLE: in de ta il: it is pos si ble to di sa ble
the DEVICES con nec ted to the con trol pa nel, the
OUTPUTS and the SW ZONES.
