1-3-2. Upper Cover

Removal
1. Remove the lower cover. (Refer to Section 1-3-1.)
2. Remove the hook, then remove the cable cover in the
direction shown by the arrow.
3. Disconnect the cable from the lens connector.
4. Remove the four screws and two projections of
chassis, then remove the upper cover.

5. Attach the upper cover in the reverse order of steps 2
to 4.

Make sure that the two projections of chassis are
inserted into the two holes of upper cover.
6. Attach the lower cover. (Refer to Section 1-3-1.)

1-3-3. Front Assembly

Removal
1. Remove the lower cover. (Refer to Section 1-3-1.)
2. Remove the upper cover. (Refer to Section 1-3-2.)
3. Remove the screw, then remove the escutcheon
assembly.
4. Remove the varifocal lens.

5. Remove the four screws, then remove the front
assembly.
6. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN653)
on the PR-291 board.
7. Disconnect the flexible flat cable from the connector
(CN901) on the BI-193 board.

8. Attach the front assembly in the reverse order of steps
3 to 7.
9. Assemble this unit in the reverse order of steps 1 and 2.
