Operating instruction
Handle the pipe welder with care,
holding only by the handle.
Place the machine on the supporting board (6)
well.
Install the matrix (5) to be used according to
speciications needed on to the heating board (4)
by means of the relevant screw.
Connect the device to the supply mains. When
you turn on the pipe welder for the irst time, a small
quantity of smoke may come out. The reason is just
that come coating residues are being automatically
removed.
Green indicator shows the machine is
heating.
Red indicator shows the machine has
stopped heating and the heating board
(4) has reached the temperature set on the
thermostat. Now the welding process can
be started.
Cut the pipe perpendicularly to its axis. Be sure
to clean the pipe and itting.
Push the pipe and itting into matrix for a few
seconds (see heating time on the table).
Pull them out rapidly and then insert the pipe
into the itting without screw to the depth needed
steadily.
Keep the two parts under pressure for a few
seconds. (see cooling time on the table)

Note: If external temperature is under 5°C,
50% more heating time is necessary.

Maintenance and cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
Do not use any water for cleaning and / or cooling.
The body of the heating board can be cleaned
with a damp cloth. Focus your attention on the
temperature that can be reached by the heating
plate (300°C).
Should the machine fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an authorized IVT customer
services center.

Environmental protection

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste.
Machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine.
