Assembly

This section describes only the procedure to assemble DP2-AOU. For the microscope, camera head, camera adapter,
etc. to be used together with this product, assemble them with careful attention referring to the respective instruction
manual.
Be sure to set the main switch of DP2-AOU to OFF during assembly.

Connecting the interface cable

Connect the connector A of the interface cable to the connector
B of the camera head, and tighten the lock screws C (2 positions).
Make sure that the interface cable is secured completely.
NOTE

Connect the connector D of the other end of the interface cable to
the USB connector E of DP2-AOU.
· Always use the interface cable provided by Olympus. Using
commercially available USB cables or hubs does not
guarantee the operation of the equipment.
· The interface cable is vulnerable to bend or twist. Do not
apply excessive force.
· Connect the interface cable in the correct orientation
paying attention to the shape of the connector.
Be sure to tighten the lock screws with your hand. If you
use the tool to tighten the lock screws too firmly, the
screw thread of the connector of the camera head may
be damaged.
