Remove the battery
from the
baseplate
on the
D.
Remove the frame assembly
from
the radio
bottom of the radio
housing by simultaneously squeezing
housing by grasping the antenna at
its
base
and pulling
inward on the
spring-loaded battery latch buttons, and
it
gently upward. Do not depress the
PTT
switch during
sliding the U-shaped battery latch slide
away
from
the
removal
and
do not
push
on the siotted-spanner nuts
to
radio
as
far
as
it
will
go (about
1/2
inch).
Then,
pull
the
/ift
the frame
assembly.
