This section provides information on performing basic piano
operations.

Getting Started

To play the piano
1.
Press the POWER button to turn on the piano.
2.
Use the MAIN VOLUME knob to set the volume
to a relatively low level.
3.
Play something on the keyboard.

Selecting a Tone

The built-in tones are divided among 6 groups, with each
group assigned to a TONE button on the control panel.
To select a tone
1.
See the "Tone List" at the back of this manual
(page A-1) for information about the TONE
button names for each of the built-in tones.
2.
Press the TONE button of the tone you want to
select.
This causes the button's indicator lamp to light,
and displays the tone that is currently selected for
that button.

sampling.
When one of the drum sets is selected (tone numbers 261
through 270), each keyboard key is assigned a different
