TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Possible Cause
The unit is disconnected
from the AC outlet.
The AC outlet has not
power.
The "AA" batteries are
exhausted.
VOLUME control is set to
minimum.
Station has not been tuned
properly.
FM reception is weak.
AM reception is weak.
Unit in Weather Alert Mode
Make sure the radio is
set to the correct weather
channel for your area.
This is normal.

Solution
Reconnect to the AC outlet.
Try the unit on another outlet.
Replace all 4 "AA" batteries with fresh
ones.
Adjust the VOLUME control.
Tune the station properly.
Extend and rotate the telescopic
antenna.
Relocate the position of the unit.
Select AM, FM or WB mode as
desired.
Tune to the correct weather channel
for your area.
Turn the unit off for a period of time or
lower volume.
