• ERST-INBETRIEBNAHME Kontrollieren Sie bei Erstinbetriebnahme des Gerätes nochmals die Unversehrtheit des Produkts bzw. der Bauteile sowie die Funktion. Entnehmen Sie den Wasserko- cher und die Basisstation aus der Verpackung und schliessen Sie die Basis an eine vorschriftsmässig installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an. Wischen Sie die Oberfläche des Wasserkochers mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch ab. -

Um den Kochvorgang anschliessend zu starten, drücken Sie die «ON/OFF»-Taste. So- bald das Wasser die Ziel-Temperatur erreicht hat, schaltet sich der Wasserkocher ab und es ertönen zwei Pieptöne. Bitte bedenken Sie, dass durch Zwischenmessungen bei Kochvorgängen unter 100°C kurze Pausen auftreten können. Bitte warten Sie, bis der Kochvorgang beendet ist. -

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, vordefinierte Programme für entsprechende Teesorten auszuwählen. Drücken Sie dafür die Taste «TEA». Das aktuell eingestellte Tee-Pro- gramm wird bei den Status-LEDs angezeigt. Warmhaltefunktion Sie können den Tee oder das erhitzte Wasser bis zu 30 Minuten lang warmhalten. Die Warmhaltefunktion-Funktion bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, eine eingestellte Tem- peratur aufrechtzuerhalten. Drücken Sie hierfür die Taste «Keep warm», um die Warmhaltefunktion zu aktivieren. Eine aktivierte Warmhaltefunktion lässt sich durch den blau erleuchteten Statusring der Taste erkennen. -

Stellen Sie nun die aktuelle Uhrzeit ein. Benutzen sie hierfür die Pfeiltasten « » / « » der individuelle Temperatureinstellung, danach die Einschaltzeit mit den Pfeil- tasten « » / « » der individuelle Zeiteinstellung. Achten Sie beim Programmieren auf die 12-Stunden AM/PM Einteilung (AM = Mit- ternacht bis 12 Uhr Mittag / PM = 12 Uhr Mittag bis Mitternacht). -

• INITIAL USE Check if the product and the components are intact and if the appliance is working properly when using it for the first time. Remove the kettle and the base station out of the packaging and connect the base to a properly installed earthed socket. Wipe the surface of the kettle using a slightly dampened cloth. -

Press the «ON/OFF» button to start the boiling function subsequently. As soon as the water reaches the set temperature, the kettle switches off and you hear two beeps. Please remember that the boiling process may be interrupted briefly below 100°C by intermediate measurements. -

Keep-warm function You can keep the tea or boiled water warm for up to 30 minutes. The keep-warm function allows you to maintain a configured temperature. To do this, press the «Keep warm» button to activate the keep-warm function. The illuminated blue status ring of the button indicates that the keep-warm function is activated. -

If the programming of the AUTOSTART function is successful, the status rings of the "AUTOSTART" and "ON/OFF" buttons glow continuously. • DESCALING AND CLEANING We recommend descaling the kettle at regular intervals depending upon the intensity of use.
