- Page 7 o Bevor Sie den Wasserkocher das erste Mal benut- zen, füllen Sie ihn mit Wasser und lassen Sie ihn einmal aufkochen. Dieses Wasser sollten Sie weg- giessen. o Bevor Sie den Wasserkocher vom Sockel abheben vergewissern Sie sich, dass er sich automatisch ausgeschaltet hat.

• ENTKALKEN Der Wasserkocher sollte je nach Wasserhärte regelmässig entkalkt werden. Ver- wenden Sie hierzu die speziellen Entkalkungstabletten von Rotel. Füllen Sie zuerst ca. 0.5 l warmes (nicht kochendes) Wasser in den Wasserkocher und geben Sie dann je nach Verkalkungsgrad 2-4 Tablette hinzu. Die Lösung keinesfalls aufkochen, da sie sonst überschäumt. -

• ENTSORGUNG Für eine sachgerechte Entsorgung ist das Gerät dem Fachhändler, der Servicestelle oder der Firma Rotel AG zurückzugeben. Die Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) legt fest, dass Haushaltsgeräte nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Altgeräte sind getrennt zu sammeln, um einerseits Wiederverwertung und Recycling zu optimieren und andererseits potenzielle Gesundheits- und Umweltgefahren zu verhindern. -

• ÉLIMINATION Veuillez rapporter l’appareil au détaillant, dans un point de service après-vente ou directement à Rotel AG, pour un recyclage approprié. Selon la directive européenne 2012/19/UE relative aux déchets d’équipements élec- triques et électroniques (DEEE), les appareils électroménagers ne doivent pas être éliminés avec les déchets solides urbains normaux. -

• DECALCIFICARE In funzione della durezza dell’acqua, il bollitore deve essere regolarmente decalcifi- cato. Utilizzate allo scopo le apposite pastiglie decalcificanti di Rotel. Prima riempite il bollitore con 0,5 l di acqua calda (non bollente) e aggiungete poi, a seconda del grado di calcare, 2-4 pastiglie. -

• SMALTIMENTO Per consentire uno smaltimento corretto, restituire l’apparecchio al rivenditore, a un agente di assistenza tecnica o a Rotel AG. La Direttiva UE 2012/19/CE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (WEEE) sancisce che gli elettrodomestici non possono essere smaltiti usando il nor- male ciclo di rifiuti solidi urbani. -

Page 23: Before Starting The Appliance
The kettle should be descaled on a regular basis depending on how hard the water supply is. To do this, use the special descaling tablets from Rotel. First of all fill the kettle with around 0.5 litres of warm water and then put in 2-4 tablets depending on how bad the build of lime-scale is. -

• DISPOSAL For proper disposal, please return device to a retailer, a service agent or Rotel AG. European Directive 2012/19/EC concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip- ment (WEEE) states that household appliances should not be disposed of using the normal solid urban waste cycle. Exhausted appliances should be collected separate- ly in order to optimise the cost of re-using and recycling materials comprising the machine, while preventing potential damage to public health and the environment. -
