14) To replace the 7882 Nose Cup Valve Assembly:
a. Insert the valve assembly into the nose cup with the valve
positioned on the inside of the nose cup.
15) To replace the Nose Cup Assembly:
a. Slide it over the groove around the speaking diaphragm and over
the exhalation valve.
b. Verify that the nose cup is in the groove in the valve assembly.
16) To replace the 7893S Head Strap Assembly:
a. Ensure the harness is positioned correctly with the 3M Logo in the
upright position.
b. Position the opening in the head harness buckle over the faceseal
post.
c. Slide the buckle downward to engage it.
d. To ensure proper fit, make sure all of the buckles are attached
firmly.
17) To replace the 7894 Standard Eyeglass Frame:
a. Insert the two prongs of the eyeglass frame into the holes of the
frame holder with the prongs directed away from the bow of the
frame holder.
b. The eyeglass frame and the bow of the frame holder should be in
the same plane.
c. Position the frame assembly into the facepiece with the bow
immediately on the inside of the inner faceseal.
d. The eyeglass frame should be positioned in the center of the
facepiece lens.
e. Adjust the frame assembly or eyeglass frame as needed to the best
fit.
f. The 7925 Universal Eyeglass Frame is also available.
