7) To replace the 7283 Exhalation Valve:
a. Push the valve onto the exhalation valve post.
8) To replace the 7918 Exhalation Valve Cover:
a. Insert the valve cover in the DIN port and push up until it clicks in
place.
9) To replace the inhalation valve gaskets:
a. Insert the gaskets inside the DIN port and push down to seat
properly.
10) To replace the 7890 Plugs (if the facepiece is being used with the
GVP System):
a. Install the plugs into the side air inlets and turn clockwise until tight.
11) To replace the 701 Bayonet Adapters (when the facepiece is set up for
the dual airline supplied air system):
a. Insert the adapters into the side air inlets.
b. Turn clockwise until tight.
c. If you are installing new gaskets on the 701 Adapters be certain
that they are in the proper position under all 3 bayonet lugs.
12) To replace the 7884 Lens:
a. First align the center of the lens with the centerline of the facepiece.
b. The center of the lens is marked with two small lines, one at the top
and one at the bottom.
c. Place the lens into the faceseal. Be certain there is a continuous
seal all around the lens.
13) Reattach the lens frame:
a. Place the lens frame, top and bottom, around the lens.
b. Replace the two center screws and tighten.
