For model NGM8048UC:

Place the maintop onto the cooktop base and tilt it up

from the front. Plug in the grounding connection.
Reinstall the maintop.

For NGM8648UC:

Place the maintop onto the cooktop base and tilt it up

from the front.
Plug in the grounding connection.

Tilt the maintop toward the front and engage the

hooks at the front, then place the maintop fully onto
the cooktop base.
Reinstall the control knobs.
