5.3 Adjusting the gas valves
Turn the control knobs to position off.

Pull off the control knobs.

Remove the screws at each burner and lift off the main

Adjust the bypass jet on each valve with a flat blade

for LP Gas. The bypass jet must be
tightened properly.
Use setting
for natural gas. The bypass jet must be
loosened until the gas flow from the burner is correct.
Turn ¼ turn to the left from LP setting.

Replace the rubber gaskets on the valve stems. Make

the D-shape of the valve stem.
Ensure that the gaskets around the burner bases are in

Reinstall the main top and the control knobs.
