Enabling Key Guard

The Key Guard function is used to prevent any
keys from being accidentally pressed, for
instance when the phone is being carried.
From Idle press < twice to bring up the
Guard Keypad? message and a third time to
confirm. The Key Guard icon (
on the Idle screen.
When Plug-in Camera is attached, press and
hold < to select Key Guard menu.
When a call is received, Key Guard will be disabled temporarily, so you can
press any key except D to answer the call. Emergency calls can still be made
– see Emergency Calls, page 10.
Note: When making emergency calls with the "Key Guard" enabled, there
will be no audible or visual indication that the number is being dialled.

Disabling Key Guard

Press < once to bring up the Free Keypad?
message and a second time to confirm.
