Turning On the Calculator

Press . The calculator will enter the calculation mode (page 7) that it was in the last time
you turned it off.
A Adjusting Display Contrast
If the fi gures on the display become hard to read, try adjusting display contrast.
1. Press !
(SETUP)
• This will display the contrast adjustment screen.

3. After the setting is the way you want, press A or !
Note
You can also use + and - to adjust contrast while the calculation mode menu that
appears when you press the , key is on the display.
Important!
If adjusting display contrast does not improve display readability, it probably means that
battery power is low. Replace the battery.
A Turning Off the Calculator
Press !A (OFF).
The following information is retained when you turn off the calculator.
