    Read This Page! You probably want to try out your new mixer right away. Before you do, please read the safety instructions on page 2, then read this page, and the rest later. Zero the Mixer 1. Turn down all knobs except the channel EQ and pan knobs, and set all the faders fully down.

    An effects processor receives a mono input from the FX send and its stereo outputs connect to the stereo return inputs. Mackie SRM450v2 powered speakers are connected to the left and right main output. Two of these speakers are also set up as stage monitors and connect to the mixer's monitor output via a graphic EQ.

Many times, bass shelving EQ can really benefit voices. Trouble is, adding low EQ also boosts stage rumble, mic handling clunks and breath pops.
