OPERATION

REPLACING THE SAW CHAIN

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Turn the chain tensioner
counterclockwise to unlock the chain
tensioner adjustment ring. Turn the
chain tensioner adjustment
counterclockwise to loosen the chain
tension.
3. Turn the chain tensioner
counterclockwise to
sprocket cover. Remove the sprocket
cover. Remove the bar and saw chain
assembly.
4. Remove the chain tensioner assembly
from the guide bar. Dispose of the used
bar and chain properly.
