Method to Tie the Radio and Flexible Antenna to the Body

Follow the procedures in this section to install and strap the flexible antenna of your radio.
NOTE: When using this antenna, use only Motorola Solutions-approved batteries, wired
surveillance, and wireless audio accessories. Using approved wired surveillance and wireless
audio accessories is important because the use of non-Motorola Solutions approved
accessories may result in exposure levels, which exceed the occupational/ controlled
environment RF exposure limits.

Positions to Place the Radio and Devices

This radio is designed to be operated while concealed under your outer garments. See the following
pictures for the recommended position to place your radio.
NOTE: Securely tape or strap only the battery side of the radio to your body.
