Styling guide
Hair drying basics
1. Shampoo and condition your hair.
Rinse the hair thoroughly. Towel blot
hair to remove excess moisture. Divide
your hair into sections. Using the dryer
along with a styling brush, direct hot air
through a section of hair at a time.
Move dryer steadily across each section
so that hot air pass through hair. Direct
air flow at hair, not scalp.
2. Keep dryer's air intake vents unob-
structed and free from hair while dryer.
3. To avoid over-drying, do not concen-
trate heat on any one section for any
length of time. Keep the dryer moving
as you style.
4. For quick styling, dampen hair with a
mist of water before styling with the
dryer.
5. When using the dryer to create curls
and waves, dry hair almost completely
on the warmest setting, then finish styl-
ing using the lower setting. This will set
the style in your hair.
6. This dryer includes a concentrator
attachment. Use the concentrator when
you need to focus the drying power in a
small area (such as a curl or a wave) or
when you want to relax curly hair.
Using diffuser
For hair styling by the diffuser you
need as follows: a towel, a shampoo
with hair conditioner, mousse or styling
gel, hair spray, and hair dryer with a
diffuser.
Wash your hair and dry them with a
towel. Then apply a little mousse or gel
evenly on the entire length of the hair.
Tilt your head to the side or forward, as
you like, place the hair dryer with a dif-
fuser at an angle of 90 degrees to the
hair. Then approach the hair dryer to
the head so that the hair is like "curled"
on flanges of the diffuser. Turn on the
hair dryer and start to dry hair. When
hair is almost dry, apply a little mousse
or styling gel to some hair strands and
repeat the procedure.
