Adjusting external device connections

You can choose t he level of cont rol you w ant t o allow your TV t o accept from
ext ernal d evices, such as sm art p hones, t ab let s, and virt ual assist ant s. Device connect
set t ing s enab le ot her d evices, includ ing t he Roku Mob ile A p p , t o cont rol your TV over
t he local area net w ork in your hom e.
To ad just t he level of ext ernal cont rol access:
1 . From t he Hom e screen m enu, navig at e t o Set t ing s > Syst em > A d vanced
syst em set t ing s > Cont rol b y m ob ile ap p s.
2. Select Net w ork access.
3. Choose one of t he follow ing set t ings:

accep t com m and s only from ot her p rivat e net w ork ad d resses on your
hom e net w ork. This set t ing is suit able for m ost cases, includ ing use of t he
Roku m ob ile ap p on your sm art p hone.
