The second row top tether anchors are
located on the back of the seatbacks for the
outboard seating positions and the rear of
the seat cushion for the center seating
position. The third row top tether anchors
are located on the back of the seatbacks.
Top tether anchors are always aligned with
rear seats and identified with symbol
Do not attach anything other than a child
restraint system to the vehicle top tether
anchors.
Instructions for attaching the child restraint
to the top tether anchor:
1. If the child restraint manufacturer
recommends that a top tether be
attached, attach and tighten the top
tether to the top tether anchor,
if equipped. Refer to the child restraint
instructions and the following steps:
1.1. Find the top tether anchor.
1.2. Route, attach and tighten the top
tether according to your child
restraint instructions and the
following instructions:

If the position you are using does not
have a head restraint and you are
using a single tether, route the tether
over the seatback.
If the position you are using does not
have a head restraint and you are
using a dual tether, route the tether
over the seatback.
